HEWI also uses a special coating for the WARM TOUCH range: The chrome-optic coating process not only ensures a sophisticated, chrome-like appearance, but also a hard-wearing surface. Another major advantage - especially for elderly and/or rheumatism patients who are sensitive to the cold - is the pleasant, warm feel. Which grab rails are available?

Grab rails are available in a wide variety of versions and designs. In addition to grab rails for the toilet and shower, there are also so-called angle handles.

Angle handles not only act as a useful support aid, but also as shower holders. These are also available from HEWI in different versions in terms of material and length. At the same time, as a planner or architect, you have new options when designing a room.

With an L-angle handle, which offers a second gripping level, users can support themselves not only horizontally but also vertically. Attached to the toilet together with a folding support handle, this is the standard solution in SIA 500 and in Ö Norm 1600 (the standards for Switzerland and Austria respectively). Although the German DIN does not provide for this, the performance principle allows such customised solutions.

Furthermore, some grab rails are often not even recognisable as such. The modular washbasin concept from HEWI shows how it's done. The innovative concept makes it possible to attach grab rails directly to the basin . However, if they are not needed at first, they can also be used as towel rails as required.

The barrier-free washbasins from HEWI have integrated recessed grips that are also suitable for holding on to.

The recessed grips allow wheelchair users, for example, to pull themselves up to or push themselves away from the washbasin as required.
